About the Role

The purpose of this position is to oversee and execute the daily furniture delivery and installation activities.

In addition the role will also involve assisting in other warehouse duties as instructed by the Warehouse Coordinator including ensuring safe receipt, storage and retrieval of goods as well as ensuring Workplace Health and Safety requirements are met. 

At times you will be required to assist in delivery and warehouse duties. 

The role also requires:

• Assembling and delivery of office furniture 

• Assisting the picking and packing of shipments for delivery 

• Assisting parcel delivery driver in overflow deliveries 

• Moving and handling of inwards and outwards goods and parcels 

• Participating in team meetings and training 

• Other assembly and installation duties 

What we are looking for in a candidate… 

•  2 years’+ experience in a warehouse or trade environment 

•   Proven experience in trade OR labouring work 

•   Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

•   Strong commitment towards delivering excellent customer service

•   Strong ability to be self organised and efficient

•   High attention to detail with all warehouse requirements

•   Good problem solving skills with the understanding of how to identify problems and overcome them

•   Ability to explain delivery or packing issues to customers in a clear and concise manner
